My first Golden Dictionary, Mary Reed & Edith Osswald, Nice vintage children’s book - a Dictionary. Golden Press 1963 (copyrights from 1957/1949, so not a first edition)
Illustrations by Richard Scarry who began illustrating books in 1947 (age 28). In 1963 he was just about to have his break Through, but had until then - as in this book - primarily been credited for illustrations.
Very Good condition. Very thin plastic viating on the front is beginning to come loose in some places
