19th century South Indian bronze of Murugan (Kartikeya), standing and holding his vel, the defining attribute of the deity and symbol of divine power and protection.
Well-cast figure with clear, confident detailing: pronounced facial features, defined headdress, chest ornamentation, and patterned garment. The vel is original and intact.
Standing on a lotus base over a squared plinth. Underside shows age, casting residue, and encrustation consistent with period work.
