Abo Randers Ny-Mag H.63 – Danish Space Age Ball Lamp, 1960s
Rare and iconic vintage Ny-Mag lamp, model H.63, manufactured by Abo Randers A/S of Randers, Denmark, in the 1960s. Designed by Hans Jørgen Berthel, it is one of the most beloved examples of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design.
The glossy red lacquered metal sphere sits on a black magnetic base that allows the shade to be oriented in any direction — including downward and sideways — thanks to the powerful internal magnet. It can be used as a table lamp or wall-mounted via the central screw on the base.
