Stand: Brugt - med synlige brugsspor
Hey there. I am selling my 20yo (produced in 2006, mine since 2017) Gaggia Classic. It's the Italian version with good stainless chassis and a 1300w boiler. The body is indeed rust free and in decent condition for the age. The machine has almost every imaginable mod and punches way above its weight. Specifically:
- "Shades of Coffee" PID (2 SSRs for both brewing and steaming)
- "Shades of Coffee" pressure gauge
- "Shades of Coffee" dimmer mod for pressure profiling and pre-infusion
- "Shades of Coffee" boost box
- Rancilio Silvia v2 steam wand (single hole)
- Low profile drip tray for more convenient use of scales and larger cups
- New (6months old) Ulka pump
- Serviceable steam valve (via mod)
- Handmade American walnut steam knob (matches the portafilter handle)
- Adjusted to 9 bars via the OPV screw
Comes with:
- Handmade (thanks, dad) wooden spouted portafilter
- Addition plastic bottomless portafilter
- Blind basket for back flushing
- 18g Profitec (IMS-made) basket
- Distribution tool
Machine has been frequently descaled, stripped occasionally and cleaned inside out (I'm an absolute nerd). I have been using remineralised RO water for the last two years and would strongly advice at least using a BWT filtered water for the machine - Copenhagen tap water is the killer. All o-rings and gaskets are less than 1 yo. The steam valve is unfortunately a bit drippy due to the design (the most common problem), however it's not terrible and can be rectified or just ignored.
It's a fantastic little machine that pulls stupidly good shots (when paired with a decent grinder) and steams milk like a champ. I kept it for so long exactly because of how versatile and easy to maintain/upgrade/tinker with it is. It's a IYKYK kinda machine, ready for you in 15min.
