Back to the roots, or rather: The quintessential Gibson acoustic guitar in its most masterful vintage version ever.
The limited-edition Gibson J-45 New Vintage Ultimate demonstrates just how far the Gibson Custom Shop can go in terms of vintage sound and how impressive a guitar can sound.
Just look at the weight: Weighing in at a mere 1.5 kg (!!), this instrument (1690 g to be exact) already showcases the quality of the premium materials used in its Hide-Glue (hot glue) construction.
Developed in close collaboration with the University of America and Gibson, a process has been created in which the Adirondack spruce top is artificially aged through elaborate processes. Temperature and pressure create a cell structure as if the instrument came from the "golden age," producing the sound that so many strive for, and which is impressively presented here.
The body is crafted from the finest and most exquisite genuine mahogany, perfectly accentuating the classic and legendary sound of a J-45.
In short: A guitar that is truly one of a kind and will captivate you within seconds, because the sound and responsiveness are simply... stunning!
