Absolutely unique and sought after ELTRA Skymaster 919, topmodel from Denmarks former largest radio factory.
Known as '1 of the Danish big 5' of the radios produced in the 1950s. Giant, heavy, highly collectable high -end tube radio fully loaded with all the new and best technology that could be found in the early 50s. This was a masterpiece to show the Danish population what the producer was capable of.
The cabinet can be closed by using it's sliding doors.
Cabinet in excellent condition, high quality tropical wood and veneers. Excellent build and construction.
NOTE: It's netto price in 1951 was 1236 Danish Kroner, which is the equivalent of 3000-4500 € in 2026, adjusted for inflation.
This was not a radio for everyone, and out of range for the normal Danish citizen.
