月岡耕漁 Tsukioka Kogyo (1869-1927)
Ukiyoe artist and Japanese-style painter from the Meiji and Taisho periods. Noh printmaker. A student of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, Ogata Gekko, and Matsumoto Fuko. He painted Noh plays based on stage scenery, and many of his works have the look of watercolor paintings, and are extravagant and elegant, using fine paper, paints, gold, and silver. His woodblock prints of Noh plays, "Nohgaku Hyakuban," "Nohgaku Zue," and "Nōga taikan" are well known.
