Selling a custom HP Z8 G4 Enterprise Workstation built specifically for heavy AI/ML workloads, local LLM hosting (70B+ models), and data mining.
I use this for my own AI pipelines and Docker containers. It is fully optimized, stress-tested, and ready to deploy as a turn-key "Cloud-in-a-Box."
Compute & Memory:
CPU: Dual Intel Xeon Gold 6244 (16 Cores / 32 Threads, 4.4GHz Boost – High frequency optimized for feeding GPUs without bottlenecks).
RAM: 192GB ECC Registered DDR4-2666 (Configured as 6x 32GB, leaving 18 free slots completely unused for massive future expansion).
PSU: 1450W Enterprise Multi-Rail Power Supply.
GPU Topology (64GB Total VRAM):
Primary AI Compute: 2x GIGABYTE RTX 3090 24GB Turbo (Blower Editions). Linked via NVLink for 48GB of pooled memory.
Secondary Compute/Display: 1x NVIDIA RTX A4000 16GB (Single-slot). Perfect for handling display output, secondary Docker inferences, or concurrent image rendering pipelines while the 3090s handle heavy LLMs.
(Note: GPUs are managed via a custom systemd service capping the 3090s at 290W to optimize thermal efficiency).
