This book will likely be outside the interests of those who discard the story of Noah as recorded in Genesis as mere allegory or worse, codified folklore, but for the person who takes it to be a literal account and who is curious about the ultimate fate of Noah's Ark after its vital mission of saving Noah and his family (as well as the living creatures on the Earth) was accomplished, this book offers a very thoughtful and indispensable journey. Cornuke and Halbrook treat us to a very comprehensive, "deep dive" which does not lead us to the traditional site of Mount Ararat in Turkey at all, although it gives the proper attention to that particular focus up until the present. Instead we find ourselves within the modern nation of Iran, for good Biblical reasons. The book is well written, thought provoking, and faithful to the Biblical account, guiding the thinking process of the authors to a plausible and exciting conclusion. I cannot recommend this book more highly for the Christian who takes the Flood Story to heart as literal truth and wants to ascertain what the real implications are with regard to the vessel's potential survival in the present time.
