The sinuous and complex "Ethno" decoration evokes the rhythm of ancestral dances and has been available since 2000 on different types of trays and baskets.
Stefano Giovannoni
Born in La Spezia in 1954, architect and designer a student of Buti at the University of Firenze. Formed the King-Kong Production group in the early 1980s together with Guido Venturini. Behind a physique du rôle that seems to be the opposite of that of a celebrity designer hides a talent capable of transferring into his projects the complex system of "affective codes" that made him the champion of the "Super & Popular" of the 1990s.
A methane designer par excellence, he has industrial design in his blood and an ability to understand the public like few of the designers represented in this catalog. His designs, which began with the "Girotondo" tray (1989, designed with Guido Venturini) and the first playful plastic objects in the "Family Follows Fiction" series (1993), are articulated in a vast family of objects in production in the "Officina Alessi," "Alessi" and "A di Alessi" catalogs.
