Stand: Brugt - men i god stand
Længde: 188 cm
Legandarisk ski på 188cm med Salomon Warden 13 bindinger, bedste jeg har haft der dækker alle forhold, hvadenten det er de første ture på pisterne med godt kantgreb, turen ud i offpisten og den kværner igennem opkørt sne senere på dagen. The Salomon QST 106 resides in a competitive and very versatile category of 105-110 mm skis that are robust enough for inbounds riding, but light enough for big days of touring. There are other skis in this category that are easier to ski, but they are less stable. Overall, the QST 106 is super fun ski that carves groomers pretty powerfully, holds its own in variable conditions, and skis powder better than any ~106 mm ski I can remember. If I was forced to pick one ski to take on a trip where I knew I was going to ride lifts a lot but also planned to do some ski touring, the QST and a capable touring binding would be among my top choices.
I had an opportunity to demo this ski at the tail end of last season in WA state. I skied primarily on piste, but did take it onto some ungroomed terrain including bumps, small drops, and general "out of bounds" type of trails/terrain. For starters, the ski is fairly light and looks great. I like the bright solid color scheme as I know it will be easy to locate the ski after an inevitable yard sale while on the hill. Next, the ski carves incredibly well and turns over easily for a ski of it's waist dimension. It was playful and responsive and a general joy to ski. The rocker/camber profile acts as one would expect and the smooth and predictable turns were a blast underfoot. In conclusion, if you are looking for a really solid all-rounder to tackle just about any terrain you can throw at it you should definitely consider this ski. Among the group I skied with that day it was a crowd favorite and definitely in my top few that I had the privilege of demoing last spring. Well done Salomon.
