The Shimmer3 GSR+ Unit is a compact, wearable sensor designed to measure Galvanic Skin Response (GSR), also known as Electrodermal Activity (EDA), providing insights into physiological arousal and emotional states. In addition to GSR, the unit can capture Photoplethysmogram (PPG) signals using an optical pulse probe, enabling heart rate estimation. Its lightweight design and wireless capabilities make it suitable for real-time data collection in various research applications, including psychology, affective computing, and human-computer interaction.
