The ASUS 4G-AC86U is a professional-grade 802.11ac CAT12 LTE modem and wireless router combination, delivering up to 600 Mbps data transfer speeds over 4G/LTE networks and a combined speed of up to 2600 Mbps in Dual Band mode.
This professional-grade 802.11ac CAT12 LTE modem and wireless router combination delivers up to 600 Mbps data transfer speeds over 4G/LTE networks and a combined speed of up to 2600 Mbps in Dual Band mode. It is compatible with SIM cards from all operators. The device can also function as a VPN server making it ideal for business use. The router includes a USB port, allowing access to content on a connected USB drive or hard disk from anywhere via the internet. The ASUS 4G-AC86U also supports printer server functionality.
The Asus AiCloud service provides free access to a versatile cloud service for your home network devices. You can easily connect to devices on your home network, transfer files between devices, share files with friends, and even remotely power on your computer. The free application can be downloaded for Android devices from the Google Play Store and for iOS devices from the iTunes Store.
Asus AiProtection Pro ensures the security of your network. AiProtection, powered by Trend Micro, makes the 4G-AC86U one of the most secure modems available. It offers advanced parental control methods, blocks malicious addresses and intruders from your computer or devices, and notifies you if a harmful device is connected to your router. It also monitors for potential weaknesses, such as password strength and operating system flaws. Additionally, AiProtection protects Wi-Fi devices that do not have security software installed, including smart TVs, game consoles, and smart home devices.
With a Gigabit wired network, even large files transfer quickly between devices. The USB 2.0 port allows for convenient sharing of a printer or external hard drive among all devices in the home. IPv6 support ensures the device's compatibility with the future of network technology, replacing the currently used IPv4 protocol.
