This exceptional and luxury 25 years Macallan Fine Oak Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured for 25 years in selected American oak bourbon and European oak sherry casks and was bottled in the year 2004 without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at 43.0% vol. and is with its complex flavours now one of the most sought-after old bottlings from Macallan.
The successful combination of American oak casks, in which bourbon was previously matured, and European oak casks, in which sherry was matured, give this exquisite and luxury 25 years Macallan Fine Oak Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky on the nose floral aromas with apple and citrus notes and the sweetness of toffee with dried fruit and spice accents, the taste is soft, mature, sweet and fruity with sherry, oranges and cinnamon, the finish is long, warm and spicy with fine wood notes, spices and cinnamon - a particularly smooth and soft 25 years Macallan Fine Oak Bourbon und Sherry Oak Casks Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky with great complexity and a bright amber colour.
