motorsejler Bavaria, årg. 2007, Glasfiber-armeret plast, Diesel hjemhavn Son (Norge), Are you dreaming of days like the opening picture, are you ready to enjoy the summer aboard a beautifully treated sailboat with 3 cabins / cabins?
We are considering selling our sailboat, a 37-foot Bavaria Cruiser. It is equipped with 3 large cabins and a large saloon with full headroom. There is a further option for 2 extra berths in the saloon, providing sleeping space for up to 8 people in total, seating for 10. An excellent family sailor with good sailing and sea characteristics. The boat is well equipped and with very good living comfort. It is easy and safe to maneuver in narrow waters and harbors.
The boat is a nicely used family sailor, and appears with little wear outside and inside. The interior is light and airy, with plenty of light coming in via hatches and two large skylights. In the cockpit, the small, original table has been replaced with a large table with dining space for 6 people. The cabin in the cockpit has a newer, custom-made thick mattress. There is plenty of storage space in cabinets, drawers and under benches. The galley is well-equipped with a two-burner stove and gas oven.
The cockpit is large and comfortable for longer sailing trips, or for enjoying a coffee at sunrise. The steering wheel can be disconnected in the cockpit, providing more space when ashore. The gas bottle is located at the rear, in a separate ventilated compartment in accordance with safety regulations. Webasto diesel heater ensures a warm and dry boat in all conditions. Engine has only run 975 hours.
Sails are in good condition. The mainsail is equipped with a lazybag, and the headsail is furled. This makes sailing easy and safe, with minimal need to move on the foredeck during sailing.
In connection with the repair of some minor scratches in the gelcoat, the entire hull was rubbed and polished again (2024). The boat is winter stored on land with a tarpaulin over it, and stood with dehumidifier and heating turned on in the cabin during the storage period. LA-SA has serviced the engine / propeller in our ownership, and before that Hvaler boat and engine. The boat is prepared for emptying septic via outlets in the gunwale (deck), according to the new requirements. The boat has a Twin keel, an unusual keel that makes the boat not stick as deep and shallower than other sailboats (about 1.6 m). In addition, it provides good sailing characteristics as it is better designed hydrodynamically. This option cost about 100,000, - extra at the time of purchase (2007). The boat is registered in the NSSR/Norwegian small boat register. The boat is currently on land and can be seen there.
